Moms, babies and tots from all over Oakville gathered last Wednesday to celebrate the launch of momstown Oakville! The event took place at the new DASH Sports facility. The children were thrilled to participate in little sporting activities and drills organized by two great coaches from DASH. Little ones had the opportunity to have their faces painted, we saw all sorts of neat designs on their little cheeks and foreheads. The budding artists in the group had lots of fun at the 6 foot colouring table and crafty kids decorated special little bags to take home to put their little treasures in. Current momstown members took delight in welcoming new moms to the neighbourhood. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming events. I'm off to do some baking for our first annual cookie exchange taking place on the evening of December 9th and to plan our Christmas Party on December 16th. We'll have holiday crafts, games and cheer to keep our little elves bustling and busy!
