I finally got some photos downloaded from our field trip on the Puddicombe Polar Express. This trip was well worth it and the kids had a blast. Puddicombe is a cute little winery just outside of Hamilton (believe it!). It's close enough for a half day excursion but far enough away to feel like you've actually gone somewhere. Once we arrived, the staff created a unique experience for the kids complete with a train ride (see photos), letters to Santa aboard a caboose, and finished off with a craft and visit from Mrs. Claus. Just good wholesome fun and super cheap. You can even grab a bottle of Puddicombe's own wine, that is, if you can tear your kids away from the candy shop. The only thing missing was the snow!
