momstown Oakville moms and babies sing, rattle and read

momstown Oakville moms and babies like to move and groove!  On Monday our moms and babies got together at Little Sprouts Cuts for Kids for our monthly Sing, Rattle and Read program.  Our Oakville babies love the chance to make music and this month they had tons of fun with the parachute.

The babies enjoyed the parachute, for many of them it was their first experience with it and some of them walked or crawled underneath it, or laughed as it went up and down. We made popcorn by bouncing balls around on top of the parachute.  We also read Barbara Reid's 'Mother Goose' and another favourite 'I Love My Mommy'.  Next came the instruments and a jam session with shakers and dancing with scarves.  Our moms and babies also sang lots of songs and shared lots of cuddles.
