We had a full house with families who came to make paper plate shakers, enjoy some yummy food and visit with friends before we rung in the New Year at noon. With noise makers, bubbles and black and silver leis we did a countdown on the front tv screen and shouted 'Happy New Year' when the clock struck noon.
For most of us who will be at home (and probably asleep by midnight!) it was a nice way to ring in the new year. A big thanks to The Niblick Pub for their great service! They had crayons and paper on each table, self serve drinks and snacks ready to go when we arrived and served us all quickly too! They've got a great menu for all ages and tastes.
