Winter is here. Coats and hats, mitts and boots are now the norm. And we've got at least four more months of this. There are many great things about winter but its easy to miss the warmer weather, the sunshine and the activities you just can't do in the colder weather. So what's a mom to do? Come to the
momstown Oakville 'Beat The Winter Blues' party! On Sunday we broke out the sunglasses and spent a fun afternoon being active and crafty.

A big thanks to

Bricks for Kidz for bringing some very fun activities to keep all the party guests busy. Be sure to check out their websites for their Oakville winter program registration information (

click here for Bricks for Kidz schedule). Moms were commenting on how much the kids loved Monkeynastix's activities and how cool the building sets were from Bricks for Kidz.
We also did some arts & crafts with sand. Kids used white glue to make a design and then were able to take a handful of sand and sprinkle it over the glue. Dump off the excess and you have a cool textured piece of art!
