Halloween starts early and ends late

momstown woke up bright and early on Halloween morning for our Halloween feature with CHCH Morning Live today. It's one thing to be up at home at 6am but it's a whole other kind of spooky to be up an on camera at 6am!

Thanks to Little Rascals for opening up (super early!!!) for us to arrive and play. Moms from momstown Oakville and momstown Burlington joined in on the fun until 9am.

momstown Oakville First Annual Christmas Party

What an exciting day for our little members of momstown Oakville. We held our first annual Christmas Party at Dash Sports. It was great fun. Little fingers were kept busy creating Christmas Tree Photo ornaments and decorating gingerbread cookies. Our littlest ones created their own masterpieces by stamping bingo dabbers to colour their very first Christmas pictures. The children were able to run and play with tons of age-appropriate equipment in the huge gym, just enough exercise to tire them out for a nice afternoon nap.

Of course there was a very special visit from Santa Claus and each child was able to sit on his lap for a picture and received a book from the book exchange and a little candycane. The children were handed jingle bells and we all sang Christmas songs like, Here comes Santa Claus, Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman.

For some of our newest little members, this was the first time they had ever sat on Santa's knee. It was a magical experience that's for sure.
