momstown Oakville: What's for Dinner?

I seem to always be wondering what to cook! I also seem to constantly be struggling with my 5pm chaos! Kids are hungry, and tired from a busy day, and I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I have done well with meal planning, so i usually have what I need on hand. I do struggle often with the meal preparation.
Momstown has helped me solve this problem, and I still feel like I'm feeding my family a healthly meal! We hosted our first BIG COOK! What a successful event. We had a great turnout, and so many awesome meals. Each member who participated brought 3 freezer meals - all prepped and ready to go. Everyone went home with 3 great meals for the freezer. All we have to do is defrost and put the meal into the slow cooker or oven! So easy! I can't wait until the next Big Cook!
Here's a few of our prepped meals, all ready to go!

This has been a popular event across many momstown chapters - there are also some great recipe ideas on momstown meals. Check out some of their blogs, for some great ideas - Burlington, Edmonton, and so many more!

momstown martini night out at JAM

Martini Monday! Thanks to all the momstown moms that made it out for martini night at JAM last night. Great to catch up and meet some new faces too.

For those that stayed at home to watch The Bachelor, you know you who are :), we got to see the unfortunate ending too on a big screen, but minus the sound, which was probably a good thing.

See you next month, same time, same place. Love the $5 drinks and sampling platter!!

The Bra Makeover

Is it possible that I've been wearing a band size 6 inches too big for 10 years?

The girls at Change at Oakville Place set me straight and I came home with some beautiful new undergarments that actually fit and do their job right.

Our momstown Oakville bra fitting event was fun and informal and not too hard on the wallet, we got some great deals and got caught up, Change even supplied the appies and champagne. Perfect! Now that's my kind of shopping.

Now, if they could just readjust our bodies back to pre-baby that would be even more spectacular!
