Craft Swap: great way to stock up!

This is officially my new favourite momstown Oakville event! With just a little prep by each participating mom, you come home with crafts to occupy your little people, especially handy for the witching hour which occurs at our house just when I'm trying to get dinner on the table.

Great for working moms too, we do it on the weekend. Just package a number of pre-determined little crafts into ziploc bags, show up at the assigned hour and trade! Just like a cookie exchange. My kids love it! And so do I :)

The Sleep Doula Presents to a Full House!

momstown was proud to present last night's seminar with Tracy Ruiz, The Sleep Doula, www.sleepdoula.com . Tracy's easy breezy sense of humour kept everyone smiling and Tracy was sure to keep the audience involved by answering many real questions from real moms suffering with real sleep deprivation. This seminar was so popular, we completely SOLD OUT! So I think that means there's a lot of sleep deprived moms (and dads) out there, stay tuned for details on a future seminar......

momstown martini night out at JAM

Martini Monday! Thanks to all the momstown moms that made it out for martini night at JAM last night. Great to catch up and meet some new faces too.

For those that stayed at home to watch The Bachelor, you know you who are :), we got to see the unfortunate ending too on a big screen, but minus the sound, which was probably a good thing.

See you next month, same time, same place. Love the $5 drinks and sampling platter!!

Love is in the Air! Our momstown kids got crafty at our monthly playgroup hosted in the Little Gym party room last week! This event is free for all momstown members and a great way to get you know your "neighbourhood" moms. Join us next month on March 9!

momstown Oakville partners with Taima Zone to bring you monthly discounted momstown days! With so many indoor playgrounds around these days, it's hard to know where to go. momstown Penguin Party!

Penguin Party at Dazzle Art!

momstown Oakville kids enjoyed a penguin craft, a penguin book, but took a miss on the other penguin related activities last week at our awesome partner space Dazzle Art. They were simply too busy enjoying themselves with all the toys and creative play stuff available! It was great to see some new faces and make some new connections.
