Valentine hearts, crafts and momstown love

Valentine's Day was lots of fun with our little momstowners and their mamas. We love our monthly playgroup where we get to use the party room at The Little Gym, have a circle time, make some crafts and enjoy each other.

To celebrate Valentine's Day momstown has some craft ideas for you - you can find all these (+ instructions and more crafts!) on the momstown arts and craft blog. Get busy with your kids, roll up your sleeves and get crafty!

Who says poker is just for the boys?

The mamas of momstown oakville get together once a month for a ladies only poker night. We have a growing group of mamas - some are poker pros and some are just learning. Either way it's a ton of fun and a great excuse for a regular girls night out!

Our mamas in momstown Edmonton love a fun poker night too (hilarious hat night!)

momstown Oakville is for SALE

Wanted:
An aspiring mom entrepreneur who is intrigued by the momstown concept & who wants to make a difference in the Oakville community!

momstown Oakville is open for adoption!

momstown Oakville is for sale! We're looking for a new mama owner for the momstown Oakville chapter.

The good news - nothing is wrong. Nothing is closing. We remain 100% committed to keeping this chapter open, growing and supportive of our members and clients just like always. But momstown is looking for a new owner to run, manage and support this chapters, individually, as their own.

momstown remains passionate and focused on the development of the total momstown brand, and on bringing the now national company, to the next level. The business has grown quickly and currently momstown Oakville is owned by momstown HQ but it's time for the chapter to leave the nest and fly on its own.

What makes momstown so special and unique is that each chapter is personal, each owner is present and capeable of connecting neighbourhood moms. Of our 17 momstown chapters, 16 are run by licensed, local owners. momstown Oakville will be making the same shift to a licensed business versus being managed by a team employed by HQ. By returning to the owner-operator model, we're excited about the potential growth and increased service levels that new management/mama can bring.

This is a decision that we feel will benefit our Oakville members, our clients and the overall momstown family.

Interested?

If you are keen to learn more, please contact Ann-Marie Burton for more licensee specific information. Also, please click here for more details about the momstown movement and why this opportunity is darn unique, a lot of fun and a perfect chance for a flexible and relevant work-at-home career.

momstown loves Christmas!

momstown Oakville was busy this past Christmas season - so many activities and opportunities to have fun with our friends!

We joined forces with momstown Burlington and momstown Milton and pulled a few strings to book an entire day just for momstown at Mountsberg Conservation's Christmas Town - what a treat!

There as Elf Academy to explore, then a horse drawn wagon ride through the forest, the busy Elf Workshop. Mrs Claus' kitchen with crafts and snacks and finally, a personal visit with Mr Claus himself!

It wouldn't be Christmas in momstown without our annual Christmas cookie exchange! This year's was just as delightful as in the past with mountains of cookies and squares for every one!

We took another field trip over to Crockadoodle to create ceramic and pottery holiday gifts - the kids made some terrific handprint ornaments and other special keepsakes.

Our "All that Glitters" holiday event was a lot of fun as well. We love the space at the Little Gym which lets us spread out for parachute fun, circle and crafts. The kids made sparkly snowflakes to bring home to hang on their tree or window.

Thanks for making our holiday season so merry and bright! (Thanks Joanna for being our photographer along the way!)

Crock a Doodle Fun!

momstown Oakville mamas dropped into Crock a Doodle this morning for lots of painting fun!

Our little painters made some great creations (and Christmas gifts!)

Even the smallest of painters can make a great impression!

We're hoping to have more Crock a Doodle playdates on the calendar for December! It's a great place to make some one of a kind Christmas gifts.
