momstown Oakville Moms and Kids Learn All About The Letter H!

Yesterday morning momstown Oakville moms and kids got together for our monthly Alphabet Play program. This month we learned all about the letter H, just in time for Halloween!  We sang some H songs (Hello, Head & Shoulders, If You're Happy and you Know It), we read an H story called Hugaboo, we looked in the mystery bag to find lots of things starting with H, and everyone either brought or wore something starting with H.

After circle time was over, we had a few exploration and craft centres to enjoy - a hat centre with lots of different hats to try on and some mirrors to see how funny we looked, lots of Halloween books and books that start with H or ABC books to read, some ABC puzzles and games, and two crafts - one was a Halloween pumpkin out of foam, and the other was a hand hat where we traced our hand, cut it out, and glued it onto a hat along with a letter H.
