Hillfield Strathallan College: Preparation for a Life-Long Learning Journey

Since 1901, Hillfield Strathallan College has provided young people with extraordinary educational opportunities. One of the key advantages of an education at HSC is the opportunity for students to remain at one campus for their entire educational journey. HSC offers programming starting from the age of three, all the way through to Grade 12.  The College consists of four small schools that are united on one campus, woven together with the commitment to our Mission,Vision and Values. A journey throughout our Junior, Montessori, Middle and Senior Schools includes well planned and purposefully designed programming with integrated support services to ensure student success.

From the first day a student steps foot into any of our four schools, he or she becomes part of a greater community. Each child is known, challenged to do their best, and supported in that pursuit. Students as young as three years of age can take part in our Montessori 3 or Pre-Kindergarten program.

The Montessori Program has been an integral part of HSC since 1967. Our Montessori School is CCMA accredited, upholding the highest standards of an authentic Montessori education. Our classroom teachers hold recognized Montessori teaching certificates from accredited training programs and provide the dynamic link between the prepared environment and the children.

HSC’s Junior School (Grades 4 – 8) is committed to providing students with a learning environment where they feel safe to take risks, grow and learn. During this magical time in a young child’s life, they don’t just take in information, they wonder, explore and discover. When children get up everyday with the knowledge that they are supported and cared for, learning comes naturally.

HSC is a non-profit day school and offers scholarships, financial aid and tuition payment programs.

Students at the College represent a broad spectrum of communities from Mississauga to Brantford. The many communities we service are united through our 25 bus routes. Main-route bus transportation is provided for all full-day students, and is included in annual tuition.
