Tales for Tots: Farm Animals

We had a great time at momstown Oakville Tales for Tots!  Today was all about farm animals.  Our moms and kids came out for a fun filled morning.  We made farm animal crafts:  paper plate pigs and chicks.  Our kids had a great time cutting and gluing triangles and circles to complete their animals.

After being crafty, we had story time with a book provided by Scholastic Canada:  Old Macdonald Had a Farm Finger Puppet Book.  The book fits an adult hand, and the kids will love to sing along!  At momstown Oakville, our kids were signing, mooing, quacking and having a great time.  It's a perfect soft puppet and board book all in one - great for young babies right through to pre-schoolers!

As always, with Tales for Tots, momstown Oakville is able to give away a copy of the book to a child at our group!

We also had snacks, and loads of play time for the kids to explore, learn and socialize.
